I love when tulips open :)
My poor Sake has been stuck inside for a week now because of his little injury. He is constantly getting in fights with the neighborhood cats and despite his giant exterior he continues to get hurt, and we continue to take him to the vet. This time wasn’t as bad as it has been in the past, but he is not enjoying his cone or being locked inside with his sister. He sits by the back door and meows and meows until he wears himself out and goes to take a nap.
I thought this photo did a good job of showing his anguish. Oh the life of a cat.. What a rough life it is..
I can’t tell you enough how much I love love love my new camera bag from Epiphanie. My bff got it for me for my birthday after I showed it to her online for color choice advice months ago. I dropped the ball and never bought it and then it popped up at my birthday party! (In the perfect color!)
See how happy I am!
Let me tell you why it is so great. First of all, it’s gorgeous. Brightly colored, cute detail, great shape. Just overall nice to look at. But more important than it’s adorable exterior is the super handy-dandy, convenient interior. It has a padded compartment for each of my lenses, or any camera accessories I feel necessary to carry around with me. It also has a zipper inside for my cards, lip gloss, and other girly items. There are also two slots on the outside that fit my keys and iPhone just perfectly. There are smaller handles for carrying in your hand or a large padded strap for carrying across the shoulder, which, let me tell you is a very important feature. Lugging around a camera and multiple lenses can get very heavy and a padded strap that helps disperse the weight is very helpful.
You can buy this bag and many other adorable options here. My particular bag is called Lola.
I took this photo on our hike in Point Reyes on Christmas Day.
By the looks of these photos you’d think we were torturing this poor child. All we were hoping for was one cute photo of little Ryan sitting on Santa’s lap, but as you can see, these were the best we got. My friend brought her little guy into work last week when Santa was going to be in the lobby of our building. As soon as she set him down on the old guy’s lap the crying began. She went over a few times to console him but as soon as she walked away it started again. Maybe next year we’ll get one with a smile?
As you all saw in my Tutu post, I made these tutus for my nieces, Haeli and Riley for Christmas. I also had decorative shirts made with their names embroidered and matching flower hair clips with rhinestones. Can you tell how much I like dressing them up? We celebrated early this year and I couldn’t wait to put the girls in their new outfits. So we threw on their new clothes and went outside to snap a few photos. The girls were moving so fast that it was really difficult to get them in the right light for a good shot but I think they still turned out pretty cute. I plan on editing all of these photos in Photoshop soon but I couldn’t wait to post them in the meantime. Maybe I’ll do a before and after post once I’ve edited them. I’d love to take out some of the shadows, but I haven’t quite learned how to use Photoshop so it might take me a while!
I tried to take the tutu off of one of the girls because she was stepping on it, but she quickly stopped in her tracks, turned around and put her hand out for the tutu. She clearly wanted it back on because as I tied it around her again she stayed still waiting for me.
You can click on each image to get a closer look. Aren’t they adorable?
If you like the personalized shirts you can order them from Kenyon Kreations. Check out her facebook here!
This is Sake and the below photo is his sister Miso.
They are my adorable little (actually, they’re kind of giant) kitties. We got them when they were tiny little kittens of only 8 weeks old and they have grown into giant-monster-jungle-cats and they hunt anything that moves. But they’re pretty cute, aren’t they?
Miso plays fetch and does flips when she runs to pick up whatever you’ve thrown. She especially loves playing with bottle caps and brings them right back to you and meows until you throw it again.
It might make me a crazy cat lady, but I love these little guys like they are my children. If you don’t like cats, I say you’re crazy. What’s not to like?
I took these photos on Thanksgiving in my parent’s neighborhood to try to capture the end of fall. I will be sad to see these amazing colors go as we head into winter!
Just playing with the focus on my Canon T3i. The photos are pretty grainy but it was so dark in my living room I’m not sure I could have avoided it.
This is our tree. I usually do an all blue and silver tree and this year I stuck to just white, silver, and clear. I love the monochromatic, simple look of it.
